Matt Cutts and Alternative Text

I've been dinking around with the issue of 'Keywords in Alt Text' lately and found this video by Matt Cutts on Alt Tags. I don't know about you but it gave me quite a bit more perspective on what Google wants out of the Alt Texts in each of your images.

Good to hear from ya' Alanna. I'm with ya', this is now an intricate part of my process. I'm really curious to see if this'll make a diff in my page ranks. My next little project is to see if I can find more images that closely relate to my keywords so that I can incorporate them in seamlessly!

Very simple and to the point. I will have to go back and make some changes to my images also. I have always added alt tags to my images but I always thought it was just for the vision impaired.
I did not realize that Google used it also.

You bet Frank... just spent a couple of hours going through mine. I'm kinda wondering about the URLs now too! I think Jovo did some stuff on it and I'm going to try and find his training on it.
