Course 2 Complete and Reflection

Wow, I've FINALLY finished Course 2 and I'm quite proud of myself. I'm sure it took me quite a bit longer to complete than most but I tried to follow and complete the action tasks as directed. Sometimes that took a day or two.

I'm pleased with the beginnings of my website but have SO MUCH more to do. I've enjoyed completing my keyword searches and developing what I think is quality content around those keywords. It's been so much fun finding the appropriate images to insert into my posts. I feel like a proud parent looking onto my website. I mean I think it looks just beautiful! Of course, just like a parent I tend to be a bit biased. :-)

My site health is still sitting at pretty good. I'm at 100% Publishing Frequency, Content Quality and Variety, 30% on Visitor Engagement/My Engagement, 60% Feedback and still 0% Site Trust. I think the Pay-It-Forward strategy is wonderful...when everyone works together and everyone benefits. I was able to earn a few credits by providing feedback and comments for other sites. I took my assignments seriously and provided quality and unique feedback and comments. I'm happy to say others did the same. I admit it can be a little time intensive but maybe I just take too long in reviewing and responding.

I got excited when we were instructed to comment on 3 sites on the Give and Take discussion and ask for comments in return. The sad part is only one person reciprocated. I don't know what I'm doing wrong in this department. I truly enjoy looking and learning from other people's sites and when I leave a comment, it's genuine. Maybe people just aren't interested in my niche (reading improvement for kids and adults). I will admit I was feeling a bit down because, again, it takes time to review sites/posts and give information.

I'm looking forward to Course 3 where I can learn how to make money in the future. I need to brush up on my social media marketing. Any recommendations or tutorials on how to use GooglePlus? I'm up and running but I'm not using it to its fullest potential.

Who knows how long it will take me to complete Course 3???!!! I'm not worried because I know that success is coming.
