The Turtle Mentality

I push through but not at the hare's pace. Prior to joining Wealthy Affiliate, my desire involved starting a blog. There's so much options out there when it comes to choosing a simple web design site but I chose not to. My stubbornness kicked in and I wanted to go the WYSIWYG approach. So I attempted to learn html, css and js. Weeks of staying glued to youtube opened my eyes to the benefit of inheriting this skill. I began to put together my website from scratch and in the process, it became time-consuming. My blog will never get up at this pace. But in sticking with the turtle mentality, I took a break and weighed out my options.

Option 1: Put up the website, just as is, and progressively make changes as time allows. I had a basic website ready for the internet but I also knew nothing about blogging and its revenue capabilities. I needed a resource to guide me in my process. Which leads me to option 2.

Option 2: Expand your knowledge. Also many options out there. Some with valuable education at a pricey cost and others with some inexpensive information which probably wont assist in my online goals. A mix of both and I googled myself to Wealthy Affiliate.

I'm blogging internally from the WA site. Day 3 of my membership and I'm beginning to enjoy this experience. I know, there's so much to learn but I'm blogging, right now, because I'm taking a break. I believe, knowledge is powerful. I believe, the turtle won the race because he knew his competition's strategy. I believe, if you choose option 2, regardless of how you think it will slow your process to achieving your goal, you too can come out on top at the end. You have the advantage over all the hare's in the industry.

wish you all the best!
