Clearing my Mind for New Content !
This morning it was tough to get up, again. Before the quarantine ordeal I was up at 6am and ready to get my day started and head to work. Since then, I have been sleeping in until 8am.
It may not seem like a big deal to some, but I feel like I am usually most productive in that first 2 hours of the morning. Not only does this throw off my early start to the day but it also shortens my day because I like to be in bed around 10pm.
I guess the good news is I have been getting plenty of rest since I started sleeping in. Plus I have managed to get some things done around the house and with the blog.
Today I decided to get my 9 year old son up, and instead of eating breakfast and jumping right in to the typical "school" and "work" day routine, we went for a bike ride. What I noticed about this week was that I started to get cloudy and lack production with my writing.
This is why I think that we should all switch up the routine as often as we can. Doing the same thing over and over, even if you enjoy it, can become mundane.
The bike ride was a little more than 15 miles and we enjoyed every minute of it. We rode from Winter Springs to the Downtown Orlando area and the weather was great. The ride was a great workout and when we got home we had a delicious salad for lunch.
We often forget to give ourselves a break a hit the reset button. Spending time with my son outside of the stress of school at home was a great way to kick off a Friday and a weekend.
Now I am ready to get a new blog post done because we all know it's all about content !
P.S- Kambucha Beer is also on the evening agenda :)
