Happy! Happy! Happy! My Post Ranked On Page 1 Of Google Today.
Post ranked on page 1 of Google today.
This is on a post I made the first week in September. I could not get google to index the post on the search console I kept getting the message that there was a "no-index" issue. I implemented every suggestion that was offered by many helpful WA members and requested the post to be indexed within the search console, and each time I would get the"no-index" issue. Last week it still showed up as still having this problem. The interesting thing is this post was consistently ranked on page 1 of both Bing and Yahoo up until today when it ranked on Google. I have just checked the Google Search Console and this post is now indexed on Google. This is interesting as I did not get the "no-index" issue fixed myself. Is it possible that the recognition that the post was getting from Yahoo and Bing might have helped it to get ranked on Google? I was very frustrated trying to fix the issue and decided to take a break from trying to figure it out and decided to go back to it in November and try to figure it out later. Just so happy that the issue is fixed.

Congratulations, Dawn! Thanks for sharing your experience, I had no idea these types of things could happen on Google. I kind of assumed the process would be straightforward, once I had adequately set myself up for success by having quality content, etc.
Thank you. Yes but it all worked out. The key is not to get discouraged and keep pushing forward.
Hi Dawn,
Awesome news! Congrats on you achievement! Much success to you!
Kind regards,
Nichola
I have had many issues work themselves out on their own with Google, when Google kicks back at me I have learned to try and fix it a couple times then if no joy let it stew for a few days.
Its like them techies get their act together and fix whatever they messed up and everything starts working again. They will never admit they have these issues but, in all of mankind's history there has only been one argumentatively without mistakes.
This has taught me to that. I wasted so much time trying to fix the problem and in the end, it all worked out. So like you say if after a couple of tries I should just move on and move forward. Best regards.
Don't just let the issue fall through the crack. Set yourself a schedule for going back to check these things, monthly is probably sufficient. Great items for one of those infamous "To Do" lists.
