Internet Business - Time Really Is Money
So I was asked by someone today if Internet Businesses really do work. Are they worth it? Can you really make the kind of money that Internet Marketers claim..? The answer to this is both simple and complex at the same time. Allow me to elaborate on each...
The simple answer would be YES. The really DO work and you really CAN make a pretty substantial income on the Internet with your own business. There are many different directions you can choose and there are thousands of websites out there offering business opportunities - it is merely up to you to decide which one works best for you.
The more complex answer is YES - BUT your success rate and the amount of money you make is directly related to one simple word - TIME. In the Internet Business world, time really is money. The more TIME you spend working your online business, the more MONEY you will make. It's a simple concept that is sometimes very hard for people to understand. They think that all you have to do is set it up and forget about it and then just watch the money roll in. Sorry, but NO. That's not how the real world works.
Imagine having a "brick and mortar" business for a second... what would happen if bought a piece of property, filled it with merchandise, opened the door, and said "ok come buy my products." How many sales do you think you would make? Before you answer that, think about this... how are people going to find you? How are they going to know what kind of business you are? The answer is - you won't make very many sales, they won't be able to find you, and they won't know who you are and what you are selling. Why? MARKETING!
In order for any business to be successful, it has to be marketed - in some form or another. And what does marketing require (besides money because you can market your business for free if you choose) - TIME! It takes TIME to develop a marketing strategy. It take TIME to implement that strategy. And it takes TIME for that marketing to work and to generate sales for your business. Internet Businesses are not different. The commitment of TIME is what can really make or break your business.
Aside from marketing, there are many other factors that will contribute to your success but it all comes back to time. You have to be willing to put in the time and effort to make your business a success. Like I said, there is not "set-it-and-forget-it" system out there that actually works. Granted some systems take less time than others, but all of them WILL require a commitment of time in order to be successful.
So, when considering your next venture - or while your going through your training here at WA - consider the fact that it will take TIME in order for you to achieve success.

That's exactly right! I like to think of it like a math problem: Time + Work + Money = Success. The more of the first 3 you put in, the higher your success will be :-)
