An update on my Football AI predictions
I just thought i’d give you a quick update on the first couple of weeks of the season.
In the first week, it was a bit hard for the AI to predict as there was no ‘form’. There were several teams new to the league.
In the end, the predictions got 6 out of 10 correct and yielded a profit of 18%
Week 2 had more information to work with, but still only got 6 correct. It should have been 7, but I over-ruled one of the predictions 🥴
Week two profit was slightly better, coming in at 28%
So the pot, starting at 100.00, is now up to 145.80
Summary
Week 1 100.00 > 118.30
Week 2 118.30 > 145.80

That's awesome Dave. Did you just place £10 on each game to start with and then place £11.83 on each game in the next round of matches? Was the game you over-ruled Burnley - Sunderland by any chance?

I put £10 on each game as standard. I never increase my stake. The game I over-ruled was actually Man City v Tottenham. The AI predicted AWAY WIN. It was right! 😏
Make sure you get your prompt right so the AI understands what you want, and make sure you feedback the results
You don’t need to get every result correct. I am making a decent profit with only 60% correct.
Can you let me know if my football (soccer) team West Ham will be relegated? It's always a worry lol.
If they play like they played in the first two games then it’s going to be a very tough season for them.
