Steady Progress!

As I finish out Course 2, here is my current progress! I am very happy to have joined WA. I have already noticed benefits in following through with this course and building my site. I was even on time for work today!

Progress

So I joined WA right around Christmas time. Its been just over a month and I feel quite accomplished. So far I have my niche site up and running, and 3 keyword rich content pages up. I have also spent more time researching and learning about my niche than I ever thought I would and I am absolutely loving it!

Niche

I decided to make something I was very interested in my niche. Although I didn't have much experience in the area, I felt I would enjoy the time necessary to develop my knowledge. The niche I am developing my site around is "tips on making beats for beginners".

Success

I think the greatest success to come from joining WealthyAfilliate would be starting to live the life that my site content is based off of. Back before Christmas I thought that I would really enjoy making beats, and here we are 5-6 weeks later and I was absolutely correct.

I have already reviewed two midi keyboards. And with that I have begun to make some pretty cool sounds. I'm also developing a thirst for more information and techniques so I can continue to grow my skills. This will indeed benefit my site, as I learn more I will be sharing and adding content to my site.

Plans and Goals - 3 Months

I have been reading a lot of blog posts and articles about good planning and I can attest that is one thing I need to develop. So I have just set a goal of 10 blog posts by March 31st. I already have 3 and 1 drafted so I think this is very achievable. My plan is to develop 1 blog post every week.

I would like to spend more time working on my site and learning about my niche so I am currently in search of a good balance between this and work. My current plan is to spend 1 hour every morning before work doing something niche related.

I also have a goal to make my first affiliate commission by March 31st! Through the plans listed above I definitely believe this is possible!

Plans and Goals - 6 Months

In the next 6 months my goal is to achieve a solid monthly commission of $1,000.00 US. I have not come up with the plan to get there but I'm hoping by the end of my 3 months I will have one! lol
