I have my main travel agency website. However the big players allow us to have a cobranded website also. i am wanting to know how to connect my current websites to the cobrand

I think you can just put a link of your agency website on your WA website vice-versa

Just link them

How do I link them?

I wouldn't get into co-branding at this stage. But if you insist, then learn what your partners expect from you and you'll be able to ask better questions about it. You might want to give this a look: http://www.businessweek.com/smallbiz/content/jul2009/sb20090710_255169.htm

Why would you say to not cobranded? I have a booking website for my travel business. I also have the blog one set up here. I am trained and have the ability to have a cobranded website with Disney and several of the cruise lines. I am thinking it would give me more exposure but am not sure how they work. Do you know how they would work?

If you want to cobrand, go ahead.

Check your email for a WHOIS verification. This may solve your issue. After you verify it still may be 24-48 hours before your site is up.

Thanks. It was a WHOIS verification. Not sure what that is but it is now up and running again. Thanks

That's what I thought it was Dawn. Glad I could help.

I own a travel agency and would like to take advantage of a promotion we have going, by advertising on Amazon Local. However I have never done anything like this and do not kno

One more question. I have an Amazon account so my email address is different from what I am using here at WA. Is that an issue in becoming an associate of Amazon? Thanks again.

It shouldn't matter if you have two different email accounts. The email account you have with Amazon is the one that will be attached to your affiliate link tracking code. It is also the one that is linked with your PayPal account that they would pay you through. Otherwise, I believe they send you a check in the mail.

Hello Sheden3* How do you become an Amazon associate? I want to advertise their products on my site. Thanks for your help.

Hi. You just need to apply with Amazon if you want to become an associate with them. Here is the application page:

https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/gp/associates/join/landing/main.html

Thank you so much Michelle. I shop a lot at Amazon. Love that site!

No, I only advertise their product as an Amazon Associate. Sorry.

No

I am a travel agent and trying to find ways to drive traffic to my website. Does anyone have any suggestions. It is hard to get ranked with so many travel agencies out there.

Would like to know how I could like my website to all my reviews... Thanks for sharing!

Where are the reviews

Hi Dawn - what an excellent idea! I would COMPLETELY recommend TripAdvisor as well as the various other review sites dedicated to travel & entertainment (Agoda, Google review, Expedia, Yelp). Also, don't forget the power of social marketing in this case. Making recommendations in TripAdvisor, for example, then linking it back to your Facebook profile, Tweeting, Pinterest, etc. will help drive traffic.

Another suggestion with getting rankings is to go local with your keywords. eg., "pet friendly hotels in florida" has monthly search of 615, QSR 98. "pet friendly hotels san diego" (671 search, QSR 67).

By the way, check what your limitations are with using the corporate website. I'm guessing the intent is that bookings/traffic needs to be directed to the corporate website. BUT - that shouldn't stop you from setting up your own travel review site (or adventure site, or exotic wedding locations, or corporate events or whatever niche in this industry you want to go with) which will give you more freedom for posting and content to targeted keywords. Then, when it comes to converting customers, you would then redirect them (seamlessly) to the American Express website. By the way, being part of the Amex franchise gives you instant credibility and creating back-links to their site will increase your page/domain authority = Google loving you :)

With regards to the Amex Website - is there a place there that you can leave reviews on, or submit articles to. Article submission is still one of the most powerful marketing tools - especially with the higher-ticket items, since people will usually only buy with those they consider an "expert" on the subject. Browse around. And get friendly with the support team at Amex since being a franchise, I'm sure they should have marketing tools, training, and advice they provide their franchisees.

Oh, and above all else, post your travel site here at WA - EVERYONE here needs to travel at some point or the other, so I'm sure we wouldn't mind visiting your site and having our own personal travel agent, right folks?

Good luck, mate.

Excellent 'Listing of Steps to Success' Louellen.
I think your steps work for many other niches too.

Hi

Thanks so much for the information. How do I list my website here? How do I link Trip Advisor to my website?
