My main question has to do with my website and how I would go about it with my niche. Will I mainly be a blogger till I finish my books to sell? How would I be making income from that?

The path that you are choosing here is going to be slightly different. As a new book author (I am assume that you are just starting out), you actually need to garner reviews first before you can put a price tag to your own product.

In the early stage, you may want to consider sending out your work for free for people to read. That way, you can build your audience and trust. Once you have a substantial number of followers, then you can start to promote and sell people something, which is your product.

I know I am over simplifying things here and probably don't know much about the fantasy world, but the point is, building an audience (aka online traffic) has to come before selling or promoting anything.

It works the same for aspiring authors as well as affiliate bloggers.
