Uh Oh. I think I messed up!

I'm not sure what I did wrong. I bought a domain and moved my siterubix to my new domain.

I set up google analytics, and it was working just fine.. meaning, like Kyle's video, I could see myself on my webpage.

I did some tinkering late last night on google webmaster tools. I tried using the "Fetch as Google" to try and get my posts indexed faster. My property was:

http://darrensvideogameshop.co...

Well then I noticed when I tried to submit my different posts using the "Fetch as Google", my response was "Redirected". After doing some research I found that "Fetch as Google" does not follow redirects.

So I created a new property:

https://darrensvideogameshop.c...

This time when I used the "Fetch as Google" tool, it said COMPLETED instead of REDIRECTED.

That's what I wanted. I wanted to get my content indexed faster. So I thought I did everything right.. WRONG!

Now when I go on google analytics, I can't see myself on my site. The http property had 1 post indexed in google.. But the https property shows 0 indexed by google.

I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Do I delete the https property and hope that fixes my problem? Or do I leave it be and give it time?

Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Darren

All sites are going to have to be https in the very near future.
Make sure when you fetch as google that on the top right of the page you have the right site listed. Https and not your http listing.
Do all your fetches as https from now on.

So do I need to delete the http property?

No, in the fetch as google they say to leave all extensions. But make sure the right one (https) is up before you fetch a page/post of your site.

dang.. I already deleted the http property and kept the https. But I did manage to straighten out the analytics problem. Thanks for the help Doug :)
