I have been to busy working on my site.....to check my mail. I was very moved by the starkness of this man and his words.

Hello Mr. Broke.
It seems like you're being hard on yourself.
The majority of the people that work hard for something that they truly want to accomplish, fail.
Why?
Because when they don't see any results, they quit, instead of working harder for it.
You can not control anybody's action but your own. And if you fail to accomplish your goals, it's not because of your talent. It's only because you gave up.
A lot of people quit.
And their goal, or dream, was just 1 more effort away.
I bet that if you would have continued writing, when you quit way back when, you probably wouldn't even be here writing about your failures. Instead, you probably would've been very successful.
Who knows.
And we will never know, why, because you gave up.
STOP QUITTING.
Learn from what doesn't work, and work harder on the things that do.
Stop holding on to your past failures, they are very heavy, and unnecessary baggage that you could definitely do without.
I believe very much in you. And I don't have to know you for a long time to know that you have a talent when you write.
Get inspired with the life that you were blessed with. We only get one chance to live, but many mistakes are given to us so that we can learn from them.
DON'T GIVE UP..
In a few years from now, or possibly even sooner, when you finally reap the reward for your hard work, come back here to WA, read this post, with all of the replies that you received from a bunch of people who don't know you personally, and want to see you achieve great things, and just keep this particular post as a reference, so whenever you feel like quitting, you can get inspired not to quit, and keep working harder

That is an excellent email/comment. So very true and keep believing in yourself. You can get where you want to go!
Such true and moving words. Never quit..you have something to offer everyone else that is unique to you. You will impact others lives in only a way you can, whether it be a smile on the street to a stranger to a blog post making someone reflect on themselves and give them an opportunity for a fresh start at life. Just think..what if inventors quit after their first failure or two??
You are what you make of yourself, sir :) kudos to you for working so hard, but give yourself a chance to rest too. Take a walk, read a book, play a game. But remember relaxation is just as important as hard work.
You can do it! Never give up -- even if you fail at an attempt, it just teaches you that particular method did not work, you just gotta get back up, dust off, and try try again.

Thank you Megan. Your very kind, and thoughtful...... I think I'm just going to keep at building my online business....until I succeed. Then I'll go for a walk. There will be plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead.

I read through some of your other posts, you have incredible talent in your words and ability to convey emotion. Success. Depression. Determination. You are a survivor. And you will do amazing things. You will change lives.
My words come from personal experience, just don't want you to burn yourself out with a feverish determination. I'm a full time single parent, lost my job, working on getting my degree and starting my business through here too. And Lord, if I don't take about an hour to just breathe, I'm tearing my hair out hahaha. I keep telling myself I'm just growing strands of glitter out of my head, not graying ;)
One foot in front of the other and I wish you the most success from your hard work and determination.

You are way to kind and thank you SO MUCH...for your astute observations. I have been rich before....twice. I have been a songwriter. I have been a husband..... I get to now be none of these things for a while and just concentrate on Sharing and Caring. Something I forgot how to do.
