My WA Status as of this Moment!!
Hello WA community,
I thought I'd take this opportunity to blog and write a little bit about my current status of my website... Now on my previous blog 'New Member of Wealthy Affiliate', I pretty much talked about the difference between WA and the get rich schemes out there and why I feel WA has set the bar real high in terms of training, lessons, support and the WA community at large willing to share information to help others whether new or experienced.
So this blog is going to be based on how I am doing so far with my website courtesy of Kyle and Carson's wonderful Wealthy Affiliate Online Business. So lets get started; when I first signed on with WA as a new member, I was amazed and quite surprised with the free Starter training videos and lessons provided for free just to get everyone who is new or experienced, to get their hands and feet wet.. To sort of get a feel and handle for what WA had to offer... Once I started with the easy-to-understand training videos and lessons, I was completely shocked and speechless that there was an actual University that provided the standard training necessary to get a website up and running. And within about a day and a half or so, guess what, My website was actually up and ready to launch!!
I found myself spending countless hours working with the videos and lessons (I still go back to learn in case I missed anything or just for learning purposes) especially after my evening work shift... I can say that after I completed all 10 training lessons, I just knew I had to upgrade to get premium because I simply could not and would not lose out on more training! And to my great surprise and delight, the training in premium has so far exceeded my expectations because know on Google as a result of Kyle and Carson's University training, my website is not only getting ranked, but I've also gotten visitors to my website.. And here's the catch, my website is not even fully completed as I still have to finished Level 2; begin Level 3 and 4 training!!! Is there any and I mean any 'get rich scheme' website gurus out there that can truthfully lay claim to this sort of beautiful training and support from Kyle, Carson and the WA community???
I think we all know the answer to that question; especially if anyone who reads this blog has even been royally screwed by those bogus get rich websites that are out there!! So I really would urge anyone who is new to WA to take a quick read of this blog because you might have some sort of issues or questions or you might even be skeptical about whether this will work or not... As I told Kyle a while back, I am really going to use my first website that is launched really as a draft website; meaning this website will be the site I look back on as my beginner site that may have a couple mistakes here and there, but it will be my learning website which will enable me to launch even better websites when I am fully able and ready to utilize all the training and lessons taught in WA!! Don't get me wrong, if I can make an income with my 'draft website' then of course that's what I am going to aim for!! But the main point of this blog is just to encourage and let anyone and everyone know that this Wealthy Affiliate Business does work and although you may not make an income right away (not a million dollars in 1 week as those gurus would have you believe), but if you stick to the training and ask questions within the community; then I completely agree with Kyle and Carson that an income within this business can be achieved and sustained in the foreseeable future!!!
Once again, If Kyle and Carson do happen to read this blog, I would like to express my sincere thanks to them for opening my eyes to the real training that I've always wanted and asked for!! And I'll continue to give them both a shout out! And for the WA community, please feel free to read and comment or leave any suggestions that you feel will make a difference for myself, yourself, and the community as a whole... We work together to make each other better and my website is up and running smoothly because many members within the WA community have gone out of their way to provide and answer questions that I've asked which has further my development in creating websites... So thanks to all of you out there in the WA community and let's keep up the good work... Again please feel free to leave comments or suggestions as I don't bite... LOL!!

Hi Dion, great blog. I too have previously been bitten by the guru sharks out there and I almost lost faith in fulfilling my dream of running my own internet business. Finding WA has been the best thing ever. Granted, my site hasn't had any visits yet but the fact is I have a site that I am creating with the help of WA and the community.
Kyle and Carson have created a chance for freedom from the rat race for everyone. In fact they should get a medal for coming up with the WA.
Congratulations on you internet business and see you around in the future.
My sentiments exactly! Couldn't have said it any better!! Kyle and Carson deserve a medal for taking time out of their busy schedule to help community members such as myself, you and others in creating a 1-of-a-kind training forum that will definitely get noticed throughout the Internet world!!

I'm really happy to hear that you are working through the training and taking the time to reflect on where you are in the process. This is an important aspect of your learning experience because you are essentially creating a diary of your Journey.

Working together to build real businesses is what we are advocates for at WA and our "movement" within the Internet business world is to overshadow the Guru's, and scammers by delivering the absolute BEST set of tools, best training, and best support platform that we are capable of.
The people out there who are flogging the pyramid schemes and get rich quick schemes are forced to continually pump out garbage product after garbage product because nothing they offer is of any value or benefit to people wanting to build businesses.
Hearing that you have found WA to be different from "the rest" out there is exactly what we love to hear!

The truth is that I'm very fortunate that I did not spend thousand of dollars on those garbage products/software/programs that angers almost all of us trying to make a decent income! All I've ever wanted is just the opportunity to get the proper training techniques and skills to build a website.. That's it man!! And WA has definitely provided that and more!! You and Kyle have set a standard and I hope we as a community can make some noise in the internet world and get rid of those garbage get rich schemes out there!!! Thanks Dion, appreciate the kind words and support! There's just so much junk out there and too many nice people getting scammed and ripped off. We'll continue to make a dent in the industry and be the "Good Guy" that people can trust and build real businesses with.

I enjoyed reading your blog Dion, it is great that there is a legitimate opportunity here among all of the scammers out there...good luck with your business, I am just getting started and am OK with this taking time to build......just adds even more legitimacy in my view, as the get rich quick scammers always try to play on people's emotions and the dream of "quick riches". Time, training, and effort, that will win every time from my experience! I wish you great success!
