I am a retired business man having spent 44 years as and underwriter, underwriting manager, and project implementation manager. After I was downsized out of the insurance industry I went back to school to get my masters degree in Project Management.
Shortly after I received my masters I was promoted to the PIM and coordinated the delivery and installation of ATM's. Later I coordinated the delivery and installation of check processing equipment. Once I became experienced in the coordination of this equipment I developed a niche market coordinating the installation of this equipment for my company's outside dealers. This was very successful until 9/11 when banking laws were changed and I no longer had a market..
After this I went on other projects until March 31 2013 I retired. This date coincidentally was the 100 anniversary of my father's birth. After four plus decades of working for other people I decided I wanted something where I don't have to brave Atlanta's traffic, I don't have a boss, and don't have to put up with office politics.
Outside of work I used to be a dedicated motorcycle rider, riding up to 2000 miles a month. During this time I owned six Harleys and one Kawasaki, but in 2014 I sold my last Harley and bought a little sports car. Now I drive that all over like I did my motorcycle.
I have been married for 50 years have three grown sons and 7 grand children ages 23 to 8. You can imagine the noise level when the whole family gets together, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Sarah my 20 year old grand daughter attends North Georgia College and her 23 year old brother Zachary is going to Lanier Tech near Gainesville, GA
Several of my grandchildren play soccer, and are surprisingly pretty good. My15 year old grand son plays on a traveling team. My 14 year old grand daughter and her 11 brother are also playing on traveling teams. My six year old granddaughter is a princess. If you don't believe me just as her,.
Lastly I am a die hard Green Bay Packers fan. Before I moved to Georgia I lived in Wisconsin where it was mandatory. My blood flows Green and Gold, Lombardi is a God, and the frozen tundra is the most historic stadium in the league.
