Hi All, today I would like to take a chance to talk about my goal in 2019 and a bit more about myself, especially what I do and how I got into my current position.

I was studying in Business Management in Australia and was working for around 3 years after I graduated from Uni. Due to some health issue, I moved back to where I was born for medication. (More handy in terms of cost and my family is around) After several months of resting, I have mostly recovered and was thinking about what should I do next. I kept searching for the firm that I used to work back in Australia but it's very difficult as the industry in Taiwan is totally on the other side of the world. I have this kind of culture shock at the same time as I was living in Bris for many many years and it's really unfamiliar to me although here was the place I was born and raised.

After several trials and that was around 6 months trying, I finally came across the name "project manager" in my mind.
I was not familiar with the job but after a brief understanding, I think this is something I would be interested in as I already know that I am not a person who would be willing to stay in a daily job that is too standard or it's not challenging.

To be qualified, I started to searching for the course that would allow me to acquire knowledge in project management. Since I was not in any kind of related background, it was hard for me to get into the degree I want to syudy. I didn't want to give up and would not want to miss any opportunity. Finally, I was accepted by the University of Manchester in the engineering of Project Management. I was super happy that I didn't give up and keep pushing myself.

I was very lucky I believe as I found my current position right after 3 months I enrolled in the master degree. Therefore, I was able to study the degree at the same time give real-time work experience as the case study to my assignments. I am also able to apply what I learnt immediately to the real workplace and I found that really useful and productive.

And now, I have been in the industry for almost 2 years and I am at the very last semester of my master degree in project management. Achieving the degree in 2019 is my top priority and I dealt with my parent that we would visit UK once I graduated (I applied long-distance study in case you are curious why I wasn't at the present of study)

I hope I would also slowly working on my second goal of the year, making my interest in baking and cooking back in Australia as my second career as well.
It's a bit long blog but I just want to express my current goal and share to whom might struggle on what they should do.

Please remember,

NEVER GIVE UP. and YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!

Please share yours if any.

Until Next blog.

Love from Diana
