Good Leaders are Winners - Good Winners are Leaders

Last Update: February 14, 2018

Dear Friends!

It's been a while since I have posted. I am trying to get a few projects done as well as get my sites in order.

However, I couldn't resist sharing the above image-quote with you.

As Wealthy Affiliate members, we are always hard at work but let's be careful not to settle for optimism and miss our mark. Yes, it's a positive word, but it's not enough for success!!

Let our aim be fixed on riding the tide of relevant keyword research, leveraging the cutting-edge training, learning from the testimonies of the successful, make some adjustments if necessary and most importantly, put it all into practice! This will ensure hauling a huge catch of success sooner, rather than later.

Having the right mindset and attitude can determine how we weather the storms of life

Bountiful success to you!

David

Hi David,
Well said I haven't messaged you in quite awhile because that is exactly what I am doing. I am still new but implanting everything I take in.

There will come a day where I can jump in and someone in need.
I thank you for being there for me.

You are right, David. I would add that good losers are also winners because they learn from their mistakes and move forward with the knowledge of where not to go or what not to do.

That's great, Tanya. I agree with that for sure. We can spin this around and still end up as winners. Amazing!

I think that's even a more profound title.
I think I will put together an article on my site from all these comments:). Currently, I blog about self-improvement, relationships etc.

All the best!

Before responding... I've had a chance to read some of the comments. I am struck by how impactful this post has been for those who have come here to read it.
I too love this sort of post , as I am a self diagnosed optimist who is always looking for a balance from being too naive...
Will use this wisdom in evaluating my daily priorities, thank you..
Also love the homily by FrankB44

Best to you David...thanks

Thank you, David. I enjoy the quote also.
"I can't" accomplishes nothing.
"I can" is only a state of mind, without results.
"I will" doesn't accomplish anything without action.
"I am" is action.

I can. I will. I am.
That sounds like you!

Thank you, David. Here's an old "down home" homily for you.
Someone who's talking about all they can do and all they will do is usually doing all they're going to do - talk.

And all the best to you!

That's a beautiful quote...and an interesting one. Who would have thought that being an optimist would be considered "settling" but I can see how that is not enough to succeed in business.

Thanks for sharing this insight, David.

You are most welcome, Veronica! There is much wisdom still to be had out there V. Let's embrace it and function from the best perspective; not the good, nor better but from the best vantage point.

Yes, when your handle popped up, I thought, "Oh, we haven't heard from David for awhile"
I'm just now, after 3 hours, finishing up on my correspondence, and I have set a goal, for today, of finishing the writing to complete lesson 7 -- revise my main page based on a critique from another member, get the About Me and Privacy Policies completed. Then I can resume my coursework, after MY lapse of about a week!
Thanks for the post; it's always good to hear your thoughts...

"put in all into practice!"? Is it wrong of me to home in on the typo mistakes?
I love the philosophy, but would prefer it without the distraction.
Best regards and good luck.
Reply

Hi John!
Please enlighten me. Where is the typo? I want to learn. :)

Ok...see it now. Fixed. Eyes were playing tricks on me.

Shouldn't "put in all into practice" read "put it all into practice", or am I missing something?
Reply
DEversley Premium
Hey John. Fixed it.

Thanks so much for pointing that out. Don't know how I missed that :).
When I see typos like that from others, I do a quick PM to nudge them. Happens to all of us at some point.

Thanks again!

I made the point of doing it publicly, simply to emphasise that even simple errors can be distracting for the reader. Knowing the quality of your work, I guessed that your ego would not take offence.
