One Toe At A Time.

Last Update: November 14, 2017

I am still just getting my feet wet with this whole blogging and website endeavor. I imagine in a year, I'll probably still say that! There is so much to learn.

With that said, I have learned so much already. I am so proud of myself for having a website that I am regularly adding content to. I had to go and pick a difficult niche to start with, and I'm already excited to start a second one on the side. (Patience, Debbie... patience...) I chose to write about the Mandela Effect (https://researchingthemandelae...), which is very time consuming. I will never run out of things to write about, but the research is intensive, and usually takes me three days to turn out a post. And when I do finally get to the point in the training to monetizing it, my options will be pretty low income. (Books... T shirts... holler if you have ideas!) But the subject is fun for me, and its something that I've already been on top of for a couple of years now, so I do have the experience going for me.

I was ranked in google by the time I got to my 3rd article, which isn't even important to me yet. I know it will take a good year for me to get my website to be somewhat presentable... there is just so much research and so many topics to cover. But that's okay! Its fun! For future plans, I plan to use some of my posts for content to create youtube videos, also I can create some relevant artwork to sell on my existing storefront at Society6, making t shirts and branded novelties available. Maybe I can put my work together and offer an eBook....

I love that there are so many things I can do. I won't feel stuck for a long time, and I really am enjoying the process. The courses are so awesome, and definitely worth the money.

Anyway, there's my ramble... Course 2, Lesson 10, Task 1... check! ;)

Hello Debbie, the key word in your blog was “fun.” So long as you find the whole process fun you will not stop. Keep on creating content and learning.

I'm glad you are enjoying the community! If you build it little by little you will see great things ahead. I have been here for over a year and it has been totally worth every dime I have paid in. I'm now starting to see that return on investment and it is exciting! Cheers!

Congratulations on seeing some returns from your hard work! Time is going to pass no matter what... its up to us whether we choose to do something with this time or not. It just feels better to spend the time investing in the future. :) Check back on me next year!
