I accomplished one if my main goals for July (one day late though!)
I got to the 100 follower mark today! I'm very happy about it and want to thank all the WAers for making it possible. August goal is to double it to 200. Now I just need to get my 1st website up and running by the end of the month.
I am very happy to be learning so much here and so happy to be part or this community.

Ohhh Desidac ... please forgive me in advance for being so very bold ... but ... would you consider focusing on your website instead of the ranking number? The rank comes without too much effort ... the website and getting it listed in Google comes with much hard work. Please consider refocusing your efforts to the direction where your site (and you) are successful. The WA ranking will follow suit.
Your not being bold. You are being truthful and giving me great valuable advice. I appreciate they and thank you. I just wanted to complete my 1st blog and comment on something so far. But 100% true, if you are successful on your website the rankings will follow. It just felt good to complete my 1st blog and comment on a goal.

You're right Des ... but don't allow those good feelings to mask themselves as success. It's an easy thing to fall in to. When we own a successful business, the realistic translation is that we own a profitable business. I know your goal is to spend more time with your family ... I admire this very much. I also know that because this is your goal, you will not fall victim to rankings -vs- money in the bank. Now... truth be told... if I would just follow my own well-intended advice as my site has taken a back-seat to spending an entire summer with my grandchildren. God Bless! ~Cathy
Thanks. Sometimes family is more important than anything else. So if your business has been temporarily placed in the back burner that's ok. Those are the things we will remember for a lifetime. As soon as they get back to school your can go hard again at your business online.
