Podcasts

Someone has suggested to me that I try a podcast to increase awareness of my blog. Not really knowing what that was (My IT knowledge is limited) I researched on Google and although the idea in theory sounds good, as always in practice it sounds a bit daunting!Has anyone had any first hand experience of podcasts and what did you think of the end product/result?(Apologies if this has been discussed before?)CheersDerek
