Podcasts
Someone has suggested to me that I try a podcast to increase awareness of my blog. Not really knowing what that was (My IT knowledge is limited) I researched on Google and although the idea in theory sounds good, as always in practice it sounds a bit daunting!
Has anyone had any first hand experience of podcasts and what did you think of the end product/result?
(Apologies if this has been discussed before?)

Hi Derek,
I did a few episodes for an ld company I used to work for a few years ago. Ours was a fairly 'sellotape and string' production done on a Mac using Garageband software and a cheap iPad app and microphone. but the results were pretty cool and we got some great feedback. Like i say, we did this 2 or 3 years ago and I have now left the company, but some of the episodes we recorded can be found here:

We recorded three episodes before I was made redundant - possibly related circumstances!!! 8-) These were relatively easy to produce and upload, and we got some great feedback from clients and prospects alike. So I'd certainly recommend them. I've even thought about launching my own to support my sites www.seangreentree.co.uk and www.placestovisitinnorfolk.com but as yet I've not managed to get around to it.
