Is it true that I cannot get a 2nd chance on making comments on other peoples post?

When I go to the offer comments, it says that I am no longer able to make comments because of being disapproved to many times.
yes, I guess I had 5 disapproved out of 10. I really miss looking at other people's websites. If I had known about this earlier I would have been more careful.
Yes, you do have to be very careful with this. If you have been blocked from making comments, I am not sure there is a way to reverse it. It depends on what your block from higher ups said. They would have given you information around this when you were notified.
What you may want to do is go and Google other peoples' sites that are in your niche....those websites outside of WA. See what they are doing, look at their content, see what they are writing about as far as topics and get all the information you can from their sites.

I went to making comments and it said that I could not make comments anymore because of spam, inappropriate comments and something else. What I am asking is what did I do wrong
This is really one bad thing about WA. A newcomer is mostly confused between comment and feedback. And there are grey areas between the two and many a time, the two overlaps. Further, it's pretty subjective too. But if a person doesn't like a comment (to be displayed on his post) because he was expecting a "Wow! Great article!" there, he can easily click the "disapprove" button and block your comment. And if this happens 2-3 times, you are blocked permanently. Try to create good contents because that will help you get comments of the organic type on your posts instead of the pay-it-forward type of comments there.

In your comment, it says after 2-3 times you are disapproved permanently. I want to know if there is a way to have a 2nd chance. I was really bummed when I noticed it. Now that I know how important it is to leave detailed article, I would be careful to not let it happen again. I just want to know if I can get a second chance on doing it right.
I have made 10 comments and 5 were disapproved. Do you know how bad that ratio is?
Derek, I would suggest you ask the person in Private Message to "undo' the disapprove status by editing your reply there. I'm not sure if undo facility is there but I think it should be there. Try to request all those who have disapproved your comments to do it likewise. After that, edit your interests so that when you are offered for comments, you get only those niches which are your interests and not others that you are not familiar with. I'm attaching a screenshot of the interest setting in SiteComment.

I have learnt that the person cannot cannot undo the disapproved status. But SiteSupport helps. Just try and you will not be disappointed, I'm sure.
Perhaps you confused comments with feedback which happens all too often. Comments are what a casual reader would leave on a particular post which would be related to that post only. Feedback is a critique of the entire website.

Comments are supposed to be unique and not a standard one you copy and paste into every comment you make.
They must be appropriate to the content you are commenting on.

It takes time for new follower names to register. Give the register some, time because the data bank is overwhelmed.
