So today I felt like making a personal post on FB about "what's on my mind" After completing the post I noticed some errors so I clicked on the circumflex (is that what you call them?) in the upper right corner of the post and noticed "embed". I've got a bit of experience so I knew that would be html code for my post. Cool I am thinking, I could use this post as a post for my website. So I copy the embed code and paste it in the body of a new post on my website entitled "Today on Facebook". I click save draft and publish and bingo my FB post shows as a post on my website. Nice. Only thing is, if I click on the menu "Recent Posts" it leads to nothing but if I click on tab "Fitness Thoughts and Ideas" which is my posting page it shows up. I have no idea why that is but I am sure the excellent training I am getting here at WA will reveal it in time. But that's cool eh?
You can see how it showed up by checking my website listed under websites by Dennis. This is in no way any attempt to promote my website. It is only to share progress on my site and what it looks like. Comments and questions are welcomed. Dennis, now I have to go throw some dumbbells around.

Could it be you assigned your new post from FB to the category "Fitness Thoughts and Ideas"?
You know what Steph, when I set up my site I saw a place, probably when I created the "Fitness Thoughts and Ideas" page to set it as my post page. I did that because my website has a static front page mostly because I didn't yet have too many posts. So I think your right it probably won't show in "Recent Posts" if posts are assigned to a specific page. Hmmmn how to rectify this one. Interesting.
