Living Intentionally
“Zoom has no words, just pictures. On the first page there is a pointy red shape, but you aren’t sure what it is until the next page when you realize it’s a rooster’s comb. Each page zooms out a little farther. The rooster is standing on a fence with two children watching him. Then you see a farm house and farm animals, and then you realize they aren’t real. They are actually toys being played with by a child.But wait, the next page reveals that all of it is a scene from an advertisement in a magazine. The magazine is on the lap of someone napping on a deck chair, which is on a cruise ship. With each turn of the page, the aperture gets wider and wider until the original image – a pointy red shape on a rooster’s comb – is so far away that it becomes invisible to the naked eye.”
Mark Batterson in his new book, Chasing the Lion, goes on to say:
“That’s true with everyone, every decision we make. Every decision and every indecision has a ripple effect way beyond our ability to predict. Every cause has an effect, and every effect has a cumulative effect. It also has a hundred unintended consequences that set off a thousand chain reactions.”
I see Sue Jones (not a real person) joined Wealthy Affiliates in December of 2016. This tells me she has a dream and she acted on it. Her bio may tell me what that dream is. I also see she is “Premium” which indicates she liked what she saw here at WA , the training, the community, the encouragement from others. Just like that little story shows, her posts, her number of friends and her rank all are indicators of how she interacts with others and how we interact and support her.
I may like her post and comment on it. Someone else reading that post and seeing my comment may check some of my posts which leads to a referral. We never know where the ripple effect will lead.
In this age of instant communications with 6 billion people watching, every click of the mouse can be a life changing event for someone.
Reminds me to be intentional.

That was a lovely post I zoomed in on. You made some Irish eyes smile. An unexpected ripple!! This is why we should be mindful of our thoughts, actions and words and try to make them nice ones even when our patience is pushed to the limit. Thank you for the post :-D
