Never Give Up!
Since my last progress report I don't seem to have progressed much more!
In fact, today, after viewing some of our WA member websites, I felt positively depressed! They look so bright and professional and shows me just how little I know so forgive me if I don't comment on too many sites at the moment, I just don't feel qualified enough.
I did create another post and managed to get it onto Google+ but it doesn't look right and I'm not sure why. If anyone can look at it and advise me I would appreciate it.

For now I am going to concentrate on my training and getting more content for my website.
I will not give up!

Denise, you are doing more than me at this moment. I have deleted one of my websites, so as to start over. I liked your article it had lots of good content. Keep going and it will get easier and easier, things will start to click.
Yes, never give up. Also, NEVER EVER compare your site and the quality of it to someone else's. If you continue to do that, you will only drive yourself further into depression. This is not a competition to see who can build the prettiest website. You are not expected to be a true expert over night. Take it one day at a time. You are doing great!
Cheer up! There will be always someone better than us and always be people who are way behind us. But, this is not a race. Take it easy and breath.

That is perfect especially the comparison advice, that can definitely get depressing. :) I did that a few times, and it sucked, so stopped doing that.
Hi Steph, thanks for that, and I know you are right. I think I'm just tired right now, I usually like to look at other sites for some inspiration!
I'm now going to take it easy and breathe deeply, at least until its time to make supper!
I think its important to continue plodding on, and adding content that is based on low competition key words. I have recently been working on the lowest competition words like under 25, even if I have to dip into lower number of searches per month like just under 100. That has helped me get one ranked on the first page finally!!, and a few on the second page.

Denise if you can just tell me what exactly is it about your site you're not happy with. If there is anything you have a small niggling doubt about its best to get it out of the way at the start otherwise it will start to keep you awake nights.

Hi Robert, firstly, I don't know what to do about my Home page. I have a different picture to put there and thought I would have my contact details there, like email but I don't know how to set it all out so that people can send me their email info. Hope I'm explaining myself properly!
Secondly, I have a page of common problems and I want to do a post on each problem. How do I direct the reader from a particular problem on the common problem page to the relative post in my blog? And can I add to a post at a later stage if I have new information rather than write another new post for that problem.
I also can't see how affiliate marketing works with a niche site but maybe I'm really getting ahead of myself here as I have just started course 3 which is about "making money"!
If you can help on the first two points at the moment I would appreciate it because I can't afford to lose any more sleep!

First off its easy to put a pic/image on your home page but do you mean within the page itself or as a Heading Pic?
Secondly. There is a Plugin that will let you put a Contact Page into your site separate from anything else.
To redirect a visitor from one page to another you can simply put the link within your text from one page to another (internal link - in Edit Mode highlight relevant text - click on the little paper clip icon in the menu and put the URL of the page you want to go to)
To add new post/pages later on you would be better with a Blog Roll and I'm afraid you would be better watching the training on that or ask another question about this function.
I don't do this and I don't want to give you the wrong advice.
As for Affiliate Marketing thats easy enough to accomplish as well but as you say you might be getting ahead of yourself because its best to get your site's content right first before you dip your toe in the water that is promoting as an affiliate.
