The Power of Creating Residual Income
It has been sometime since I have enaged in the Wealthy Affiliate Community. I still work a full time job, wife and mother of 5 (2 still under 18), and also building a home based business.
Right around June things started getting pretty hectic for me and then we took a much needed vacation the middle of July.
I have been traveling for my job alot lately. Was just in DC earlier this week and will be going back again on Monday for another two weeks.
Needless to say I have not invested anytime into my online business. However, I continue to get regular orders on one of my websites. One day I was even surprised to see an order for over $800 from one of my customers.
I am so glad I made the decision to learn how to build a business on the internet. Though I am partnered with a MLM as one of my streams of income, I am still working to build an affiliate income as well. Actually I pretty much run my mlm business like an affiliate since I really have no desire to build a team. I just enjoy retailing the products online. You see contrary to popular belief, you REALLY can create a residual income JUST selling if you do it online. Residual income really has nothing to do with buidling a team. I define residual income as doing something once and getting paid for it over and over again. I created content and from that content I can continue to earn over and over.
That is the power of residual income. So whether you chose to partner with a MLM, become an affiliate or create your own products, you can create great residual income if you are willing to put in the intial work. I know I could probably be earning a whole lot more if I continue to put the work in. Right now Im not able to do that, but it's good to know that I can always give myself a raise if I'm willing to put in the work.

Residual income is the way to go, Put the work in and you can get paid for years. My dad did business with a guy who was a writer on Happy Days. To this day he is still receiving residual income from them. I think its awesome that you are getting your residuals.Thanks for sharing and have a great holiday weekend:)
Jazmin, you are so right. The key is being willing to put in the hard work on the front in and you can reap the rewards for years to come. I hope that you had a great holiday as well.
Residual income is good stuff and you're right, it does not require building a team. You can write a book.
thanks! I wish more people would get that. But don't get me wrong. I am not opposed to helping others to succeed. I do it everyday in one way or another. I just dont have the time, energy or desire to build a team as defined by the network marketing industry.
There are so many ways to work with a team to help others and also receive the help you need in reaching your own goals. I love masterminding with like minded individuals. that is one way. though you may not grow a team so to speak there is a way to partner and help each other promote their products and services. many are doing it successfully every day.
It is a very interesting concept. What kind of residual income activities can be carried out?
You can write an book. build an informational blog and receive ongoing income from ads, affiliate products, etc. exactly what you are learning here in WA.
