Hi CeCelia,
I'm using Chrome and I have no problems.
Are using a mobile device? Do you have the last version of Chrome?

I'm unable to replicate that issue, CeCelia. Do you have any browser extensions that could be causing the problem?

It says:
Facebook App ID is required for Facebook Login to work...
Twitter Consumer Key and Secret are required for Twitter Login to work....
LinkedIn API Key
Do you already have these accounts? If not you can set them up for free, then use the ID to connect to those sites!
Is it really worth all the trouble? I have actually personally given up on social media because of the time wasted with all of them. I prefer to carry on with working on my websites rather than gossiping.

Social media is the promoting avenue of the future. its not about gossiping its about possible future contact's and even possible future customers. Yes its very good to concentrate on building your site but it is very important to build your social sites. Gain trust then share your work with the social systems a great way to advertise. Have a great day just a thought J B
They are all free social media sites, just sign up and when your do save all you info in note pad then go and enter info as required, these are your Identification log in information. You will not be required to share your password keep that safe with your notes. You find them by using you searching engine. lets say you do a search for facebook then click on facebook then it will take you to a join now. just join after your in it will give you the info in your account or when your on your page you will find it also on top in the address bar you can just copy and paste that if you wish. hope this helps. JB
Go to your Facebook page by clicking on your name in the upper right. Copy the URL, (web address) that shows up on your browser when you do that. You need to copy only the part that starts with www.facebook, not the https. Do the same thing for your other profiles. You will know you are on the right page if your name shows up at the end of the URL (or whatever your account name is).
Hope I helped! I also did a training module around setting up a Pinterest page for you business. Social media can provide a critical link in your marketing strategy. It's ok to bite it off little by little though, if you're finding it stressful. Here's the link to the training I made, in case you might find it useful:

Don't worry about all that stuff, its something to do with syncing if you have designated fan pages, I have a facebook fan page and I have not not even done that, all you need is the share buttons, they are awesome, check them out on my page http://bestbargainsmartphones.com/

I use Social Media Feather. I like it. Adds a nice touch and makes sharing and following easy.
I have used Super Socializer plugin for a while now. It also works very well and seems quite popular. I did struggle a bit to get it set up properly.
Thank you Allyn, I will look at it also.
Oh Lord, I see what you mean about figuring out the settings! Any pointers?
Essentially, I went to google and searched for each type of pointer. I just put in the name of what I needed and then I would find the site written by the author of Super Socializer related to getting that particular pointer. The websites gave really good instructions on how to get them but it did take some effort.

How do I add my picture to my Wordpress profile?
Create a Gravatar image. How to Create a Gravatar Account Or create an about me page and upload the image to that page. Not sure which you are trying to do.
If you want your avatar (picture) to show up on your WordPress dashboard, your replies to comments and even on other websites you need to register your email address with http://en.gravatar.com/ and upload your photo. You can link multiple email addresses to the same picture or have a different picture for each email address. ~Marion
Hmmm. Very interesting. I don't recall doing all that, but must have because my profile pic shows up everywhere. Good to know, though. Thanks for asking.
Install the plugin Simple Local Avatar
That will give you an additional field in
Users > My Profile
There you can upload your image and it will show on WP and also in the comment section of your site, as well as on others when you leave a comment
Hope that helps

Simple Local Avatar is a free plugin for WordPress. It enables the feature to add a profile image to WP User Account. Works as simple as it says and it's free. :)
If you want a profile picture when you leave a comment on someone else's website, then you'll need Gravatar.
Simple Local Avatar only works on your website.
