Hey there affiliate eficionados'

Have you ever wondered why you sometimes find it difficult coming up with new ideas?

Or get irritated when some-one doesn't wanna roll in the same hay as you?

Or are you tired of hearing the same ole marketing message, over and over again?

And wonder why no-one seems to be interested in what you've got to say?

Well, it's NOT your fault!

It's called the...

"Filter Bubble Effect"

It's a phenomenon where you're thoughts are managed by the biases instilled (by you) into the Google algorithms, and put on a feedback loop.

Let me explain...

These technologies personalize the content people see onine based on their browsing history, search patterns, social media interactions, and other online behaviors.

In effect...

Reinforcing your beliefs and perspectives.

Which means, being less exposed to contradictory viewpoints and information.

This is fine for the majority who don't have to rely on innovation to stand out in a crowd. But for those in WealthyAffiliate, it can be a potential roadblock.

It can limit exposure to diverse opinions, new sources, and ideas. Therefor leading to a lack of understanding of different viewpoints and a narrower worldview.

And if you've ever heard of the psychological term: "Confirmation Bias" it also limits folk from escaping their limited pre-existing beliefs while ignoring or dismissing info' that contradicts those beliefs.

Marketing Echo Chambers

This is a space we're all too familiar.

Where like-minded individuals communicate and reinforce each others' views without much exposure to dissenting opinions. Creating a sort of feedback loop!

It raises ethical concerns, which can result in a fragmented and distorted landscape, affecting peoples ability to make well rounded judments, and take part in healthy convo's.

Solution!

Seek out diverse sources of info', intentionally engaging with people with "weird" views. Clear browsing history and cookies to reduce personalization. And be CRITICAL with the info' you eat up.

In other words...

Use your noodle.

Hope this helps.

Cordially
