1. What is a Backlink?

2. How do I Conduct Entity Research?

Hi Deb .

Phil has answered your first question in live chat with the second here is a simple explanation regarding Entity Research

Entity research is the process of studying and learning about specific things, this could be about people, events, objects, or even ideas.

What you do here is basically collect information and analyze data in order to understand the characteristics and the importance of what you are looking at.

It helps you make those informed decisions with what you found on that particular entity.

The easier way is simply to do research on that something specific you are looking at.

In Partha's last post which I gave you, he mentioned an area about checking your competition plus he gave a link for a Google extension that can give you more details on that particular website post that would be about a topic to your niche in other words finding what your competition is writing about and the layout they have with sub-headers.

That extension will show you the headers and sub-headers that relate to the post and using those ideas they put in can help you do better on your blog post to be better than what they created.

This can be considered entity research on a competitor's blog post.

Hope that helps Deb

Andre

There's also some entity research software, which she could be referring to.

yep I thought I would quickly ask ChatGpt to save time this is what they had to say plus these are just some there are many more around.

" There are several software tools and platforms available that can aid in entity research. These tools are designed to assist researchers, analysts, and businesses in gathering, organizing, and analyzing information about specific entities. Some of these software options include:

Data Analysis Tools:
Software like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or more advanced data analysis tools like R and Python with data analysis libraries, can help researchers manage and analyze data related to entities.

Web Scraping Tools:
Tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Octoparse can be used to extract relevant data from websites, making it easier to gather information about specific entities from online sources.

Database Management Systems (DBMS):
Platforms like MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, and others help researchers store, manage, and query large datasets related to entities.

Text Analysis Tools:
Software like NLTK (Natural Language Toolkit) and spaCy can assist in analyzing and extracting insights from text data, which is valuable for entity research.

Knowledge Graphs:
Knowledge graph platforms like Neo4j allow researchers to model and explore complex relationships between entities, providing a visual representation of their interconnectedness.

Social Media Analytics Tools:
These tools help researchers gather and analyze data from social media platforms, enabling insights into public opinions and sentiments about specific entities.

Market Intelligence Platforms:
Commercial platforms like Crunchbase, CB Insights, or PitchBook provide extensive data on companies, investors, and startup ecosystems, facilitating entity research in the business domain.

It's worth noting that new tools and software are continuously being developed, so it's a good idea to check for the latest options that cater to your specific research needs.

Always ensure that you comply with ethical and legal guidelines while conducting any research involving data collection and analysis."

Oh my!

Basically bring it doe to the nuts and bolts the tools are ways to do some form of analysis.

My Website: http://debsherbsnthings.siterubix.com
Change to: http://debsherbal kitchen.siterubix.com

I changed my first website to a new name and it takes a month to move your new site into the place of the previous site.

Is there a lot of content on your first site?

no content. still learning. I have blogs created but the site isn't launched yet.

If you want to change the URL of a siterubix subdomain, you can delete it and start again; however, I'd save my work locally.

If the title and tagline (Just another WordPress site), settings > general edit and save changes.

To delete a siterubix subdomain | or dot com if applicable, click details on the subdomain in question in site manager, onward next page, scroll all the way to the bottom and click delete.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

Then you may go to Site Builder.

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/build

Choose a free domain, enter credentials and follow the procedure.

You're the Best! I realized a couple tutorials ago that I can squeeze more content topics if I change the name a smidge. Yay! Onward I go! You Rock Abie!

Thank you Phil! I appreciate that response. Deb

I've never used a siterubix sub-domain but I would think you'd just create the new one and then use the Move option to move your old website across.

I wanted to sign up with Frank's 1st month special price but the above upgrade only lets you put in the full price. I need some help and I'm running out of days. Seems everywhe

Nothing happens after seven days.

You may continue being a free starter or decide to upgrade.

The Wealthy Affiliate platform does not kick you off.

You have fantastic responses here; kindly let us know if you need additional assistance.

Sorry Deb that you got outdated information on the discount offer which stopped ages ago.
The price of premium membership is $49 per month recurring monthly or the Premium Plus membership is $99 per month recurring monthly.

The initial offer given to you is outdated and needs to be fixed by your so-called mentor.

The change was made to $49 per month and instead of a discount you can get 30 Free credits to purchase your own dot com domain instead should you go premium.

For premium plus you get 60 Free credits to be able to buy 2 dot com domains.

This is the monthly price and you also have the yearly which works out cheaper in the long run of $497 for premium or $697 for premium plus should you want to go yearly.

That is your choice to make.

Just wanted you to know the actual cost and sorry to hear you are not getting a response.

I know you have asked your mentor with no response back which is why I am giving you the details here.

If you wish to talk to Kyle you can contact him on his profile and he will respond there.

Here is his profile link

Gosh feeling deflated. Thank you Apache for responding. Really kind of you and Andy too! Y'all are really nice. Deb

You are welcome Deb sorry you got the old information but promise you that you will be looked after here with the community support as you have seen.

Yes thankfully Andy came to the rescue in chat.

Continue to strive forward if you have any questions feel free to ask as you have already.

enjoy your day and weekend as well

Andre

Apache, what happens after the 7 days? I budgeted for the offer. Does the site kick me off?

and yes y'all are wonderful! It's been a great experience!

No, it doesn't.
Before when that original offer also included the 7 days test trial.

Previously the 7 days allowed you to be able to ask question in chat for 7 days only now as a starter member you can still stay as long as your wish but of course, you are limited to what you can do with your website and the training you have.

The best lessons are on the premium side of the paid membership

You are now able to continue to ask questions in chat, to the community as a whole as you have done or any at the end of each lesson you have as a starter.

There is no time limit on asking questions as before.

Also note, that your free Site Rubix is a subdomain which starters get to use for free.

However, this is only for six months before it gets deleted to free up space on WA servers.

This gives you plenty of time to decide if this is for you or not.

Hope that helps you further understand

Andre

happy to hear you are enjoying the experience so far and more to enjoy should you decide to upgrade but that is your choice to make when you wish or are able to do so.

I guess I'm not exactly sure what my content is going to be so I'm iffy on a lot of the areas of the website. Can I move on to the other training and go back to it?

I suggest you follow up on the training to the tee, ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks, and activities asked of you to complete to set up correctly and guide you through the process.

You are best to just first focus on what the training gives you and work one step at a time.

Don't skip lessons as each has its own tasks and this is the proper way to do so.

There is a reason for the way the training is set out in the step-step order skipping or not completing tasks will only hinder and set you back and possibly lead to quitting.

When I first started i skipped some lessons thinking the same way as you are I got set back a good six months because of it and decided to start from the beginning properly.

The first task is you need to really find your niche. This could be a passion or interest you have and one in that you can write lots of content your website will be based on your chosen niche.

You also have the niche finder tool on your left-hand dashboard to help you gain a better understanding to find your niche.

As a starter, you get ten searches before it is renewed each month.

You can also ask the community as well for other ideas you may have and more than willing to give you more niche ideas without you using all ten too quickly.

More than happy to help you get some more niche ideas.

Once you get a grasp of things and know your niche, you can always go back and refresh from previous training provided you have completed each task.

Wishing you well

Andre

I'm having trouble finding the first boot camp video.

Here is the link below but all you do is click training at top member and on the left side below the OEC is affilaite BootCamp and when you click that you should see the first lesson just so you know how to find it but this is the link

To be honest, I would look for a Niche before moving forward with the training, because I thought the same thing! however, the training works best if you follow along and complete the tasks in order... its the best way to get the complete picture. trust me, i wasnt sure about some stuff so i skipped ahead but eventually had to go back and do it the right way...

I already have my niche and my website almost done just no content.

Perfect!! Good luck on your venture! :)
