It finally happened!

On a beautiful, warm Friday evening in Norhern VA, it finally happened. NO, I did not win the lottery, NO, I did not get married and NO Kyle did not notify me that I was going to Vegas next year. I'm still holding out for any or all of these. lol

So what might ask? Well, if you are new or have not seen my prior post.....

Yep, Eugene and I finally met. We're both still finding it hard to believe that we live in the very same subdivision. While I've been neglecting my neigborhood watch duties and have not walked past his house looking for any devious behavior in a while, we're still minutes walking distance apart. I have short legs so if we're counting MY minutes, you know he's close!!!

I expected that it would be a quick meet and greet if you will. However, we ended up talking and laughing for about 1.5 hrs.

Of course, WA was the main topic of conversation and with all the changes, it was easy to talk about them for quite some time.

However, no WA conversation would be complete without talking about some of the success stories here (which there are many). Then there are the characters of WA. Come on, you know we have some.....and perhaps you know who you are. lol I think it's a given that you must have some characters in every organization. They are what add spice and fun to life.

If you know me at all, you know how I hate to cook but even I know that food with no spice is not good. So, to all of you that add spice to our life, we thank you! I know I speak for Eugene as well in saying thank you to Kyle and Carson as well for creating this platform and bringing so many people together from ALL walks of life and ALL areas on the globe.

Most of us never would have met if it wasn't for WA. Even if it is online, many of us form friendships with others here. They broaden our horizons with different perspectives, different beliefs and different life experiences. Yet we can all come together for a common cause and support each other to succeed at making a better life for ourselves and our families.

It's only by a slim chance that 2 people happen to be in the same place at the same time. I feel lucky. Hmmmm, with that in mind, perhaps I'll play the lottery tonight.
