A Life on Purpose

2021 -- A New Year. We came into this year with hope and faith that things would certainly be better than the last one. It started out with a bang!!!!

Yet as I read blogs, I sadly see illness, frustration and desperation. I admit that I am coming out of a "funk" if you will.

Living in the US right now is taking its toll on many of us. It's disheartening and most of us are powerless to make changes that need to be made. The division,not only amongst states but amongst families and friends, needs to stop! We are better than that.

I also just lost 2 people (not COVID related). One was my favorite cousins. We were only 5 years apart but my mother trusted her to babysit me. I'm really not sure WHY she thought that was ok because if there was trouble to be had, my cousin and I found it. I might have been a handful as a child but my cousin enabled me. LOL. Her passing was good because her last few years have been tough but it's still hard on those she left behind.

The other was a friend that I hadn't heard from in a while and was checking up on him. Come to find out, he died in Septemeber. It was a SHOCK! He was my first love at age 12. I mean, you never forget your first love right?

Anyway, life happens and we need to learn how to accept the ups along with the downs, process them in our minds then move on. We can't stay in that "funk" place. That place serves no one.

WA has so much to offer. Let's not waste time with worry, frustration, sadness or even anger. Remember to be kind to one another. You have no idea what they are going through. We're each here to fulfill a dream. Let's get to it!!!!!

Everyone ends up somewhere. Very few end up somewhere on purpose.

Decide where you want to end up this year then make it happen -- on purpose!!!
