Start Again with new niche.
So I have been toying with the idea of starting again with a new niche. I chose dog training as a niche as it is something I am interested in and something I thought I could write about. However, when it has come down to it I don't think I know enough about the subject and need to do a lot of research prior to writing posts. The product reviews are becoming hard as well because I find it difficult writing long reviews about something I don't own.
My true passion is fitness and I believe this is a better suited niche (I know I need to narrow that down) and I am more than knowledgeable on the subject due to being a qualified personal trainer, constantly reading articles, buying all sorts of products and losing 8 stone myself only a few years ago. It is something I could write about with little research and also do a lot of product reviews very easily.
I was put off writing about this due to the amount of competition but at the same time there is also a lot of demand, an evergreen niche and very profitable one. So after looking at the pro and cons I have decided to go back to the beginning, start again and start a fresh.
The dog training will still be there so maybe in the future I could return to it but for now I think I may have found the best way forward for myself.
So here's hoping I've picked right this time!
