I think the training works best when filled in order.

Definitely take the training in order as long as you find what you are looking for. If you get to a point where you are looking for something specific and research shows you that there is a tutorial or a classroom available, by all means take the class or tutorial. This is a journey - very similar to learning at university.
Set yourself a goal to reach with the training and fill in time around those goals as needed with extra research.

You should do the training in order. With the tasks. Then move on, I didn't, now I'm starting over.

I am still rather new, but it sounds like you are coming down with shiny object syndrome. The training is in the order it is in for a reason and should be completed in that order before moving on to another system. Consider like building a houhouse on a good foundation.

You should take training in sequence. However don't let that stop you from getting diversified necessary instruction!

Find a program you like that is good, like Wealthy Affiliate, and stick with it all the way through. Otherwise it is far too easy to mix methodologies - not that another could be wrong, but they could clash and the end result is mud. Finish your training here before venturing to others - don't chase shiny objects.

Stick to the program. I often wandered, only to find it was covered later. That was essentially time wasted.

I'm sticking to the training program. Sometimes I find a place in the training where I think I really need to know more. I'm finding out that I really need to know more about S E O But I think staying the course is best.
