Are You Truly Honestly Committed?

So, I just responded to someone's money goals and it got me thinking. Maybe "wondering" is a better word....

How many people/members on this site are truly dedicated to their goals. I mean really dedicated? Do you honestly sacrifice time away from mindless activities? Like watching a hit tv show. Or going out with friends - wasting money and energy and, again, time on senseless stuff?

How many of you are there who actually schedule time in a planner or marked on a daily calendar or even discuss with your family that you need to work on your business because....? Do you honestly schedule time in your planner? Do you even have a daily, weekly or monthly planner? Do you tell your family that you'll be busy from this time to that time frame? Do you explain why you'll be busy then?

if not, why? is it a secret? Why is it a secret? Honestly, to make headway.; To get the little "wins", you should be communicating with your loved ones. And letting them know how serious you are about your goals. This goal that you shared with total strangers, should be shared with your loved ones too. I think its more important to share this need or want or dream with your loved ones. They, above everyone else, will hold you the most accountable. Sharing with the WA community is great. But, they can't hold you as accountable as your family! You say you live alone and no family nearby? What's your point? You have family out there somewhere who care and love you. And want the best for you. LET THEM KNOW! they'll hold you accountable in their own way. Whether its direct (are you still building your business) or indirect (how have you been?) . And your response to them should be HONEST! NO EXCUSES. NO B.S.

Are you aware that 99% of people who join an online affiliate program, not just WA. But, any affiliate program fail. Do you know why they fail? Dedication... Commitment... Lack of desire...ACCOUNTABILITY!!!! These statistics could change if most of us stayed TRUE to ourselves. And, true to our stated goals! But, sadly most of us will end up lying to our friends and family and, ultimately, to ourselves about why we failed. And the honest truth is that we really didn't want it as bad as we expressed. If we did, we'd find a way to get around the obstacles that are holding us back.

So, are you being honest with yourself? Will you talk to your loved ones, family, etc... and let them know that you are serious. Will you have a conversation with yourself to see if you are committed to the long haul and the failures you WILL experience. We all will face a slap in the face from time to time... just know that its what you do next that counts... will you just walk away a failure? Or will you find a way to overcome that setback? Share your thoughts. But be warned... what you share will either be a complete lie or the Absolute honest truth.

if you want it... mean it!!!!!

We have several.ways to show that we are running a business
We can show our commitment and dedication by letting our success be our voice
Monitoring our ongoing progress is an excellent example

I hear what you are saying and you make a good point about accountability. But what happens if your partner says that it's just a hobby not a real business. You're not going to share your journey with them, trust me!
I do fine being accountable to my own goals and schedule, I don't need to hear the negative bunk. I do make statements that I'm working but he thinks I'm kidding?

I will continue to forge ahead as usual.

Thank you for sharing. It is undoubtedly tough when you have a significant other who doesn't support you in your endeavors. I am sorry you have to go through that. I hear what you are saying and totally respect your situation. There are far too many people that have the same circumstances. My post falls way too short in that respect. Your tenacity and determination clearly shows in your feedback to me. Thank you for your response.
