Just getting started
Just became a premium member a bit ago. I want to learn everything I can about affiliate marketing and take action as I go. I am so ready for a life change..... emotionally, physically, spiritually and monetary. I feel way deep inside that this is the platform to get me there. I know there will be setbacks at times but that is how we grow. I have let myself go the last ten years being prisoned to my foundry job, and still am, to the point that my health, my weight, my mindset, my dreams and everything in between just disappeared. I've been thinking about online marketing for awhile now but couldn't find anything legitimate until I was looking up some other get rich quick scheme in Google and came across a review which turned out to be an affiliate for wealthy affiliate. Sounded good so I joined in the starter pack and just skimmed thru it and forgot about it till a month later when I read another review about another opportunity and then I read his blog about why I should join wealthy affiliate. Well I was very intrigued and curious so I tried to join only to find out that I had already joined. So by then my seven days were up and I had questions and nobody to answer them. I know I could do this and educate myself with the help from wealthy affiliate and all the others here that have already gone before me. I'm looking forward to getting to know allot of you and learning from you. God Bless

What a story! I don't ever want you to feel like you're ever alone. You are part of a huge community of people willing to help. And the best part, you have that bright green tab on the left side of the page that is step by step lessons and training to get you from zero to hero!
Follow it diligently and patiently. Don't get too focused on money or traffic early on, just build your site right the way Kyle says to. He's a genius, man. We're lucky to have his training. The early stages are very important in that they're foundational. Just like when you start building a house you can't expect to move in when only the foundation is poured, right? You have to wait for the everything else to fall into place.
Keep up with the training and keep that great learning attitude and you'll make your way.
Thank you for the words of encouragement. Really appreciate that. I'm really suck on picking a niche. And also since I'm a premium member now, do I still use the free websites or get my own domain name? I need to figure these out before I can move forward. I'm doing this from my phone for right now. I have a laptop on order but won't get that till next week.
You know what I'd do if i were you? I'd go back and give yourself a little refresher in everything that's available.
I think kyle's video that we all see when we very first start is this one: Wealthy Affiliate Walkthrough - How YOU Can Benefit From WA He goes over everything, including what you get at premium vs free so you won't have any confusion.
If you have any problem with your niche you could always go to the WA bootcamp tab like i did and never look back. I think he goes over that in the video too.
And don't ever hesitate to message Kyle himself. The dude actually writes back. I can't see how he can possibly get through all the messages but he does. He just wrote me back 2 seconds ago with a congratulations for something and it wasn't automated. Im telling you the guy is awesome.
