All In: A Decision to Go Yearly

As my first month of being a premium member wound down, I wrestled with what I was going to do. Was I going to stick to paying on a monthly basis? Did I really want to go yearly? Thoughts of commitment and thinking long-term in relation to the instant moment floated in my head.
Based on my progression, what I've yet to learn, and putting it all together, I knew this was a long-term proposition. So far, I've been diligent and working hard. In essence, I found I made a bit of a commitment to this. It would be easy for me to break the commitment by simply going in and canceling my account in a week, or a month. Then the question I'd ask myself would be, would I return, if ever? If I did, would I still have the same excitement and motivation?
One could think going yearly would be a no-brainer in light of the last paragraph. However, it was not as much of a no-brainer decision for me, as I had lost my job 1-1/2 months ago. As a result of no longer receiving a steady paycheck, it was necessary to keep an eye on my expenses.
It was not an easy decision for me, but I decided to go all in and become a yearly member. The mindset I took was this was an investment, and not money that was lost purchasing a video game console, or some other item that provides distraction rather than education and motivation. Besides, I've come so far in the past month I've been here, yet have so much further to go. My journey here has barely started, and I'd like to continue it and see where it leads!
