Stepping up

I've been with WA off and on for several years, purchased lot of other Internet business tools and programs, but never done a thing that made money. When WA offered the year's premium access for the Black Friday special, it happened at a time that my wife and I were discussing whether I should just pack in the idea of doing something besides a 9-5 job, or commit to doing it right for a year.

I chose to step up, obviously. I've canceled, or will cancel, all of my other email subscriptions (sorry, Travis and Jennifer!) to remove the temptation of chasing the shiny baubles. I'm bringing a lot of knowledge to the table from all those other things, but I don't know at this point how much of it is wrong, or just a different path to the same goal, or just something I didn't "get". So, to the extent I can, I'm starting as a newbie. I hope that my previous experience will cut short some of the learning since I know what "SEO" and "PPC" are. At the same time, I don't intend to cut corners on the education here. I'm going to go through the training properly this time. I'm going to be asking questions on the forums. I'm going to make a living through WA.

I hope, too, that I can find a community here. I'm a gregarious person by nature so finding people I can share the trip with is important to me.
