Walking & Chewing Gum at the Same Time
Doing the Wealthy Affiliate training looks like doing many things all at the same time. We are supposed to write blogs, design websites, learn some IM jargon (what's the difference between a Domain name, a website and a URL anyway?), join Twitter and Facebook, make lots of new friends, take in a Webinar, upload everything and read enough material to put The Congressional Record to shame. That doesn't even include starting Level 2 training.
How is this even possible?
Break it down.
Start with what is comfortable, then add.
So, if you are comfortable with clicking on people to follow and exchanging email with them, do that. Are you comfortable reading? Explore all the links on the home page, read what is there. How about a Webinar? Can you attend a free training on a Friday? Now you have three things you can do.
Just keep adding things one by one. They add up. Before you know it you will be doing everything because you did them one by one.
Use CHAT
When you need help, log into CHAT. Someone there will shoehorn you into whatever you are having trouble with. Once you're there it will get comfortable. Like new shoes, it only hurts at the beginning.
Bottom Line
So if you can walk and chew gum at the same time you can succeed at Wealthy Affiliate

Thanks for for the advice. Its really not easy but it all boils down to a task at a time and a day at a time. Thanks
yea its kinda like walking into information overload! I have went back several times and read through the lessons again and again . Sometimes you miss things and when you go back and review its like a refresher . Thanks for the post dazzlefish
Very wise advice! Just thinking about all the tasks ahead can be quite overwhelming, but if you can do even one task a day, it does add up in the long run.
