The only glitch is it came from a mailing list and does not credit the original artist.

what a spot on message! I have used pics in the past from Google, but Bis has some good points for you below. :)
I think google images can be used or I would not think that google would provide them? I have used a few Apple images from google images and have not been slammed for it!

My advice is you should never use images without crediting whose it is. Different image directories have different sorts of licences so you need to check. You can get images at some of the places mentioned in my training. If you also look at some of the comments - other people have suggested other places.

Thank you for your advice. So you're saying, don't use, period? What a shame. I get so many great photos emailed from Funzug every day.
I understand that giving credit is important and the legality of using free photos. But, my question is how do I give credit when uploading images in article directory articles or even on my own website. Where do you put the credit to ensure the owner is credited?
