Progress Update!

Good Morning Everyone!

I joined the WA community a little under 3 weeks ago not knowing that to expect, but after completing the second level of training I am really amazed as to how much I have learned!

It took me a little while to fully grasp the content writing, which resulted in me purchasing two domain names before finally hitting my stride with the third. After writing my initial content, I would try to layout the next few articles and, when I realized that I was already having a hard time coming up with 5-10 more idea, I took a step back. Before selecting my "final" niche, I laid out the template for various content that I can write about, and the ideas started flowing! Since last Friday I have published 5 posts, and I find myself excited to sit down and write more whenever I get the chance.

I have a full time job in Accounting, and the last few weeks have been non-stop, but I didn't want to use that as an excuse, so I would write my content at night or the weekend (when I didn't also have to work at my job). I also have two young boys, a two year old and our youngest turns 9 months on the 18th, but luckily my wife has been supportive of me undertaking this new challenge as well (but it does help that the kids are in bed early so I can spend some time later in the night writing my content and going through my training).

All three of my sites have been indexed on Google though, which is very inspiring to know that, even though I am putting the first two sites on the back burner for now, that the content I did write was good enough to get recognized by Google! I am starting to have some of my content also being indexed by Google, but I need to continue to post quality content so that I can start getting ranked as well!

My upcoming goals include continuing the training and within the next few months I would love to see some income coming from my site!

This is completely new to me, as I have always been a "numbers guy" and never really enjoyed writing, but I realized that is because I always had to write about stuff that didn't interest me that much, and now I am writing about something I am very passionate about!

Anyway, that's all I have to say for now, but I know that without the inspiration and success stories, and overall community support, I likely wouldn't be where I am in my progress. I often go the WA community to get inspired by seeing how everyone else is succeeding and it is just further proof that if I stick with it, I will see results in the (hopefully) not too distant future!!
