While setting up my site I published my privacy page as a post that you can comment on. I put it in the trash, but when go to content writer, it takes you back to the site to

Both of my problems are solved. My site is back up, I have graphics and the page is set right. Thanks for all the awesome help!

Hi David,

Go back to the post area within Wordpress and look for the Privacy Policy post that you have in the trash. You may need to delete it completely by emptying the trash.

When you go to create the Privacy Policy page, it may be using the same URL as that post. For example (http://www.yourwebsite.com/privacy-policy)

I believe this is where the conflict is coming in. Once you 'completely' delete the post, you should be able to publish the page.

Thanks! I thought that might have to happen. I also hit customize theme and now it doesn't have a pic there. I know that I can load a pic of my choosing, but I really want to go to a different theme form the original template. Is there a way to get back to the original theme. I thought I had changed pics and saved so it now is in custom format without any graphics basically. Thanks for your quick reply!

Which theme are you using?

Were you wanting to change to a separate theme or correct something with this one? Not entirely sure what you are trying to do.

I fixed it, lol used a little Duct tape on it. They say duct tape fixes everything.

Lol. Good deal.

This is easily done, there are plugins. I use pType Converter. So install it, do the job, and then deactivate. Very simple tool.

Thanks for the advice, a great tool to keep in mind.

If you still have a copy then why not just copy and paste it into a PAGE then go back and delete it as a POST.

Sounds like a simple solution. Thanks for the response. Definitely worth a try
