we often hear others say to us "enjoy the journey" in my mind i think yes thank you i will.And continue the journey that i am on.But i my self never make it a point, as i get intensely focused son the journey. Is this the only way? i really dont think so

For me David, "enjoy the journey" means enjoy the whole process. You are engaged in a rigorous learning and doing process. There will be times of exhilaration when you will feel good about your progress.
But there will also be times of disappointment when you get stuck on something or when it seems like you may never reach the end goal.
Patience, persistence, and dedication will allow you to achieve that end goal. Enjoy the ups and downs ... enjoy the journey.
