New to the scene...
Hello and welcome to my first blog post as a new member to Wealthy Affiliate, WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!"
I want to be point blank here after four years... I'm no six figure earner, but I am able to provide a comfortable lifestyle from working at home as an affiliate marketer online. And I have been creating my own products in full, this past year.
Now you are probably wondering or are wanting to ask me "why are you NOT earning six figures then", right? Well the truth of the matter is "I'm somewhat of a slacker to a piont." Probably wasn't expecting that for an answer was ya? But I hope you can except the fact that it is an honest one.
You see, "I'm just an ol' country boy." Pretty simple things make life such a joy to Cindy ( my fiancee) and I. The simplest of things like; waking up, knowing our children are okay and doing well, watching a sunrise or sunset together, enjoying our four Boxers that live with us and enjoying our grand children as they grow. We don't need shiny new expensive cars, boats or planes. Our home is comfortable but humble and it is also paid off in full as is the car we drive. ( okay I drive Cindy doesn't drive anymore.)
See Cindy is a breast cancer survivor of the H.E.R.2 cancer of 3 years now. "YES!!!!" And she had a 5% chance of survival at the time of diagnosis. She was at stage four of the cancer. She decided to have a double mastectomy and went thru "intense"chemo and radiation treatments, (and has to take medications for another 2 years minimum) and "thankfully" she is here today to celebrate another day of life. And there isn't a day that goes by that I don't give thanks for being the lucky man that has her in his life and gets to enjoy another day of life with her in it.
So we choose to be content living life pretty much debt free through the income I have generated and generate thru affiliate marketing. We do what we want when want ' pretty much' and when we need money to do something special, " I just have to work a little harder online." You really and honestly can generate "money on demand" online, but it takes hard work and for me it took a few years to reach that level in our online home business.
"No, I'm not talking" push button miracles, do nothing dreams or magic fairy dust, you sprinkle over your computer and keyboard and money will come flying out of your computer or into your merchant account." I'm talking real time and work spent at building your online business, like making yourself stand out from the others even when it's promoting an affiliate offer everyone else is promoting. "It's possible, never doubt that" and in my next post I'll tell you some of the things that I do to do just that.
Until tomorrow then... remember; " your dreams should always become your goals, it should never become the other way around."
"Thanks for visiting my blog" and I know it was a lengthy post but it's a get to know me post.
"Thanks again and I'm looking forward to your comments and feel free to share."

Hello David - thanks for sharing your story and a bit of Cindy's. Very inspiring. Look forward to learning more about your success as a marketeer.
Beverley
Hello Beverley,
"Thanks for stopping by, it is appreciated as are you." And thanks for wanting to know more about me as a marketer.
I will share a post here everyday or at the very least every other day cause i do have other commitments, I won't lie about it. And to me that is one of the worst thing ( besides lying) that a marketer can do is spread themselves to thin and not be able to deliver quality because they are in such a rush.
I told Kyle that today was dedicated to Wealthy Affiliate and learning, sharing and getting to know the membership site and the great stuff they have to offer here. I have no doubt what so ever that Kyle and Carson both are by no means no joke or some kind of shady marketers hiding behind a mask. "They are the real deal."
Once again "thanks" and I look forward to learning with you and from you and if I can help out with anything just shoot me a message. I'll help if I can in any way.
To your success I wish the very best,
David
Thank you, I'm glad you found my post interesting and I hope that you will always find them of interest and helpful in some manner.

Hello David, I know you are going to love being part of our WA community. A common purpose unites us in a way that does not actually happen at Facebook or any other social media site. I don't think it will take long for you to see the difference.
I enjoyed reading your introduction. I doubt that you were ever a slacker. Knowing one's priorities and taking time to enjoy the simple things in life is far from slacking.
I like it when you say "your dreams should always become your goals". Too many of us go around putting our dreams on hold, waiting for that day when we will have time or money to fulfill our dreams, only to look back and wonder what happened.
I'm so glad you are now a part of the WA family and that I stopped by to read your wonderful post. See you around. ~ Jude
Hello again Jude,
And I too am glad you stopped by and thanks so very much for taking the time to read my first post and to leave such a wonderful comment.
I'm glad you like my little saying and what you said is so true. There is no real time to wait or time will get away from us before we know it.
I love your story! It's quite a thrill, generating any income online. Once you've done it successfully on any scale, the key is to scale it up, rinse, and repeat! See you around.
Hello Emily,
"Thanks" for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I'm glad that you like our story, it was a life changing event in all of our lives and put so many things in our lives into a new perspective.
I do so love our industry and the super fast pace in which it moves, it keeps it exciting even though I still use some of the 'oldest rules' of internet marketing... build that list and build a good trusting and caring relationship with that list.
And you nailed it; " Once you've done it successfully on any scale, the key is to scale it up, rinse, and repeat!" I couldn't have said it any better.
"Thanks again and look forward to more of your blog posts."
David
