A Plan for 2021 & Do You Have Yours Completed?
Hi, Everyone...
You may or may not have noticed that I have not been involved with the social side of Wealthy Affiliate much for most of the year...There is a reason for that, and it leads me directly to the subject of this post...
In spite of the terrible year that 2020 has been in so many ways, with all the turmoil and disruption to the "normal" that we each may know, no matter what that may be for each of us, I and hopefully others within the membership have found a way to take some positives out of the year...

What Have I Been Doing?
In my case, I have been working for 10 months on a significant project that involves many subtasks/projects...This is to be my final "hurrah" and the goal is to build a business that will outlast me for decades to come...
In assessing where I am at with the close of 2020, and planning for 2021, I can say that although there is a way to go, much progress has been made, major portions of the project are off and running, and we are making money...
The project involves providing online training, tools, and services for new online marketers, entrepreneurs, and even seasoned marketers. Designed as an "all-in-one" program/service, it addresses the needs of so many in today's economy and those dealing with the pandemic...
So far we have over 300 members or clients, and that number is growing daily. As bad as the fallout has been for so many this year, it has been a perfect time to introduce such a business to the market.
Although daunting, the hard work day after day has paid off, and the future looks bright indeed. The list of "to-do" items never seems to get shorter, as when the tasks are crossed off when completed new ones seem to pop up and be added...

What Will You and I Be Doing In 2021?
For me/the team, the end of the year offers a point in time when we can look back at what was done for the year, what went well, and what did not go so well...It gives us a snapshot of the exact point we find ourselves at right now...
This, in turn, has allowed us to determine what may be attainable for the coming year, and plan on how we will reach the goals we set for ourselves as a team/company. More than a SWAG (sorry wild a** guess), we can attach some numbers and figures to where we want to be one year from now...
That figure and position is the end state (desired), and by working backward we can determine what has to happen week by week, month to month, throughout the coming year so we achieve the sales figures, the membership numbers, the program upgrades/status, and the profits we are anticipating...
I and the team have gone through that process, and now are ready to tackle the coming year. We know what the sales numbers need to be, we know the additional staffing that will be required as we grow, and we know how much we will put into marketing, more tools, and our affiliates...

What Is YOUR Plan for 2021?
So tell me, what is your plan for 2021 (tell me below, I am interested to hear what others are doing/planning for and even HOW they will achieve their plans)...Planning is like dreaming...
It only becomes reality if you make it so...The only way to make it so is to get busy and keep at it, day after day, week after week, and month after month...I have a plan, the team knows my plan, and they are ready to support/contribute...
So I urge you to get your team on board with your plans too. That "team" could be your family, friends, the community that surrounds you, etc. Let them know the what, why, when, and how you will achieve your plans for 2021...

Bottom Line...
I have HUGE high hopes for the coming year, and so should you! These hopes are based on a cold, calculating assessment of where we all find ourselves at right now, and I do believe that no matter what you are planning, you can succeed (if you have planned well!)...
So we end the year 2020, saying to ourselves in so many ways good riddance...We look to the coming year with anticipation, knowing that things are going to get better, and we will be players that help make that the case (for many)...
What do you think? What are your plans, how are you going to achieve them, and am I drinking the kool-aid (as in the coming year is NOT going to be a good one for most people that plan and take action)?

Your planning and achievement are impressive. Sharing you outlook and a bit of your method is really inspirational. I must admit that since retirement, my intense planning and assessment tools have been set aside. Rather, I have kind of an outline for the day that I sort of shoot for and sometimes get close to doing. I plan to do this with less rigor in the new year. I have to tell you, after almost 60 years of 50-70 hour well planned work weeks, I love sitting in a lawn chair looking at a bird in a tree. You plan sounds amazing. Thanks for inspiring us. Thanks for your thoughts, and I have to say that where you are at seems perfectly fine! After so many years of hitting it hard, listening to the birds chirping away while having a tea or coffee is not a bad thing at all!
I could not help thinking of earlier times in Florida in Ocala as I read your plans...
There I had a house that my mother and step-father were living in...Lewis was his name, and we spent countless hours on the back veranda, doing just that!
It was a time to talk of earlier undertakings...
He was an intel dude in WWII and was in France, Germany and after that conflict ended, was sent to Japan! He was a retiree like me, and drew his check monthly for over 45 years!
For so many reasons we had much in common, so the banter was light and easy and watching those birds, the squirrels chasing away the birds, and yet later the dogs chasing away the squirrels was relaxing...
Those were good times, indeed, and I imagine it is the same for you!
I wish you all the best for the coming year, and also more of that downtime you describe! I will join you in about 3 years, I do have an exit plan for all this stuff I am putting together now (actually Plan A and Plan B!)...
