Returned To The Top 200

I wasn't going to write this post, but as it flashed up when I had logged in that I was in the top 200, share it with the community, I thought about it and decided to share some thoughts on this with you

Those who read my posts and follow me, will know, hopefully, I only post when I have something relevant to say and then because every community post is indexed by google, so the better researched your post is, the more chance you have of getting found

I don't post for postings sake : )

Now brealing into the top 200 is nothing new for me, I have been there before. The first time I Was absolutely hell bent, on looking at the rankings of breaking into the top 25

Boy was I hell bent on being an ambassador

So hell bent, that it became consuming and other aspects of my business took a back seat

That in itself was a very bad move

So at the back end of the year before last, I decided to place more emphasis on building my list, after all unless we have a list, we have no income and no matter how many posts within the community we write, that doesn't change

Focusing on my l;ist building was a no brainer and it worked very well

I even had my eyes opened further and started looking at various other opportunities, to see if the direction I was going in might be best suited elsewhere

After an awful lot of research and consderation, I thought I had found something else which might fit better

I came mighty close to leaving Wealthy Affiliate

But, then I had a lightbulb moment and took time away from the computer, this platform and thought long and hard about it & ...

Came to the conclusion that absolutely everything I need, or want at this stage in my journey was

Right Here!

So I renewed my membership for a further 12 months

The feeling of relief was immense

There are however some caveats I have given myself

No1 is to not be hell bent on becoming an ambassador. Not being direspectful to those that are, but, every single one of us is an ambassador in some form through the experiences we share

No2. Focus on my list building and building out my blogs further

No 3 Re visit the Online Entrepreneurs Course again, if not in full then those parts that I feel are relevant to me, refreshment is excellent

So far and its been about 3 weeks since I made that decision, things are panning out well

Now, if you are someone in the same boat as I was and are consdering moving for what ever reason it is, then consider this

There is an awful lot of rehashed rubbish online. People charge a forune for it

You have that in WA for $359 yearly or the black friday deal which ever you are on

Exclusive trainings are available on other platforms, with one even charging $250 monthly

having experienced that, it is second rate. You can create your oww training within WA.

Doing this means you get paid, it gets indexed in the search engines and people will join you

By far the best way online to make money is through having your own membership site

There are others within this community who have list building membership sites, which have a lifetime cost, that ties you down admin wise. This is a model I looked closely at, very closely indeed and was tempted, until i remembered

We have that at Wealthy Affiliate, both through the affiliation we have to t his platform and though our own community posts and trainings

Finally we have some awesome Live Training which teaches us new skills that can be applied offline and on, that really can't be found elsewhere and that is included in the price of pur membership

Indeed one venture I know of is charging $2,500 for very much substandard material

Yesterday I watched a live training webinar replay 4 Core Traffic Strategies

From that I learned and applied a couple of new things and tweaked two other things.

In my honest opinion we are out there 24/7 through our blogs and so what other industry lets you do that.

In conclusion I ma convinced I made the right choice and very pleased to be back in the top 200, but even more so becauaw these thoughts might resonate with some and help those who are newer
