Hi, nice to meet you here. Well, we all know SEO is top of the list but there are many other ways to promote like social media and email marketing. I also use Traffic Exchanges, Mailers, and Ad sites.

There are free forums you can join and I joined a couple of communities but nothing much came of it. That's not to say it wouldn't work for you. I mainly focus on adding content to my site and rely more on organic search traffic but there are people who promote their sites in various ways.
