Basically, there are so many factors in play as to if one will succeed in this business or not (but is that not the case for any business)?

Go at your own pace and implement what you have learned step by step and who knows where you will be in a couple of years from now....

I love those rabbit holes, some of them (like WA) have been gifts from God! Keep up the good work and work toward being consistent.

One of the best pieces of advice I've heard recently, which helps to keep me moving forward is:
1. Know your why - What was it that made you feel you wanted or "had" to do this, why was it so important to you when you had that feeling - take the time to define your why.
2. Keep your "why" in front of you. Tape it to your computer or laptop so you can refer to it frequently. There are tough days where it's easy to forget why you are even doing this. I have thrown my hands up in the air and walked away before in frustration. But I'm back now...
3. And then condition your mind to do just a little bit everyday to get better. Don't overwhelm yourself but commit to consistently doing those things that will bring you closer to your goals.

If your content addresses issues and solutions and how tos your site will get traffic. This is the best way to start to get traffic. And of course later you will be writing product reviews and adding affiliate links..

Traffic starts slow, but it definitely grows as your site ages. Consistent blogging keeps search engines and people coming to your site.

Stick with it.
Find a subject (niche) you are interested in and think long-term.
Think about making your new website grow by adding good quality information (posts) and products that will help someone out there.

Expect to see little to no real traffic for 8 months or so and that is perfectly normal.
Learn from the training on here and keep going.

Don't quit. This blogging thing takes time, but I already said that!
