Spring Cleaning
Every year around this time (just happens to fall on the 1st), I clean out my work list. I go through what has worked, what has not worked and what I have to tweak. I look through what made me money, what costs me money and what I need to invest money into to calculate where I am at.
I always have to remember my business mantra of "what made me money may not be the best thing and what didn't make me money is not the worse thing". You see, I am the investment just as you are in your business. If I can make $10K a month and sleep well at night and it cost me $4K to do so then that's a great deal. Yet, when I make $2K and it cost me a few dollars and I have to think if I did the right thing then there is a big problem. It is called ethics.
I have learned that I can sell anyone almost anything I truly believe in and sell half the people something that I barely believe in. I just don't do the latter since I know how easy it is but causes me great pains when asked about a product or service I do not really use (hmm...sounds like a review). I will probably never go down as a guru but I will go down with some integrity and that is more valuable to me.
I have been a member here at WA for over 10 years. My name doesn't appear on some higher level rankings and most of that is by choice. I congratulate the newer Premium members ranked over (200,000 and unranked (which I follow) - I have my reasons) and offer help when requested especially from my following. I also usually direct someone who wants to be in WA to one of my followers for them to earn commissions so they can see how networking can earn you money.
With this all being said, I recommend everyone to get rid of the clutter, get focused and make this year the best at WA and your business.
I wish you much success - Dark

This is GREAT! I can totally relate to this! Yes I have to do the same thing otherwise one can get overwhelmed with all the extra "junk" that needs sorting depositing- Thanks for posting! :)
Like your integrity. Some poignant tips/reminders also. Thank you.
