Three months on WA.the journey so far

So, here we are...three months down the line with WA and in those three months, I am amazed at how far I've come. Not just with regard to the fact I'm over half-way through the fourth level of training, but the fact that in those three months I have created my very own website. Mine.

If someone had said to me back at the beginning of March... "you will have your own site up and running, with 17 articles published, with the majority indexed and over 16,000 words written" I had said "no chance".

However, with the online entrepreneur course, it makes it achievable for someone that's never had a clue about how to even start a blog, take steps to do so. It's not been easy, far from it and it's been very challenging. Not just because it's a new thing for me, but the fact I have a full time job, a five-month-old daughter and we have all been affected with corona gate.

I have tried to spend some time daily either on here or tweaking my site and keep the momentum I feel I've had since starting this adventure.

The website I created is called sportcbds.com, it's a site to share my knowledge on health, fitness and holistic/alternative views on CBD. I've tried to keep the writing light, but still be informative to anyone that stumbles across it.

The community on WA have been amazing. Whenever I have an issue or something i'm not sure about, simply asking the question will normally be answered very quickly and allow me to continue to the next part of the training.

I feel like I've not really had any stumbling blocks along the way apart from the fact I can not get approved by any advertising sites what so ever - Adsense, media.net and others ive tried also.

Then I thought that for me it would be better to advertise the items im promoting and not have someone elses ads on my page...even if I would get a few pence for it, so I have added banners for CBD and WA So far.

I've still not had any conversions which is a little frustrating, but im in this or the long term, not a get-rich-quick scheme.

I have had very positive feedback from people who have commented on my posts, my writing style and look of the site, which means so much to me as i'm very passionate about this. So thank you all who have given me that little bump of encouragement along the way.

I applied to join Awin yesterday as I think a lot of their products will suit me, so fingers crossed while I wait for them approve me.

The thing I could do with now is more traffic, but im patient enough to trust the training and not get too worried about that. There has been points where I have put too much pressure on myself and it's weighed me down and hindered the process of creating content.

The plan for me in the next few months is to complete the online training, continue to post weekly as im doing now. I've disciplined myself to create one post a week. Now I know I need to do more, but I can't do anymore without burning out which is a massive frustration for me, as I want to write as much as possible, just circumstances at the moment unfortunately and a nagging partner of course.

Looking further ahead, I would like to get steady conversions and hopefully be able to do this full time at some point. To be able to do that would be so liberating and life changing, being able to help others, have my own online business and have more time to do what I want is something that seems so far away but something im driven to work towards and hopefully with the continued help of everyone at WA, I'll be able to live that dream one day.

I hope to look back at this post in the future and have fond memories of the time before things really started to fall into place for me.
