In the training, we are told to do as you did: check the Jaaxy numbers on the proper search term i.e. home remedies for eczema. That's the real number.

If you try for home remedies eczema, it will be difficult to write an article with that keyword. Either you will actually write "for" in there in which case you will be targeting the higher competition keyword or you will leave the "for" out and it will look bad i.e. like a typo or bad English. So I wouldn't target the improper keyword.

Having said that, if the KQI is green / great for the proper keyword... then it might be worth trying after you've written a few other articles first, just to get that initial traffic going.
