New Members Plan of Action
So, after speaking with several 'Intermediate Affiliate Marketers' (they were once beginners but have survived at least 12 months lol), We had a discussion about what strategy new members should be working on here.
We came up with the following but will be interesting to see how others think:
MONTH 1: Take a look around the site and see what it is actually about. Begin your training and ask questions, as many as you need to. Also start thinking up a few niche ideas for yourself.
MONTHS 2-3: Continue with training and by now you should have a few niches ideas of your own. You may change your mind on your niche several times which is absolutely fine. Play around with some website themes and layout options, you need to form an idea of how you want your site to look. You should be writing some content posts now too.
MONTHS 4-6: Hopefully you will have settled on a niche by now and you now need to focus on good quality content and keywords. You should be posting a minimum of ten posts per month. Start thinking about which affiliates you wish to work with and how you will be promoting them.
MONTHS 7-9: Start placing your affiliate links and also think about whether an email list will benefit you and how you could implement this into your site. Your content should now be bringing more visitors to your site.
MONTHS 10-12: You should now have around 60-70 good quality posts with relevant affiliate links. You may even by now have some commissions coming through, even if they are minimal. Review your site and see if the layout needs changing in anyway. Header, sidebar, footer etc. See which posts are attracting most hits and write a couple of similar ones or update the existing ones if they need it.
And that is your first year concluded!

I like it! I'm still a noob here but that seems like a good coherent framework to work with. Thank you to you and all the intermediate WA'ers who helped
all the best

(P.S. Have a follow as an extra thank you!)
Thanks. For me being impatient was always my weakness, hated the waiting game! But it really is the best way.
